We come together every day because of our love for scuba diving. From diving 50 metres into the sea to diving in a quarry, we do it all! From all things small like snails to large mammals like Whale Sharks, we love them all! We have heaps of fun by putting on the dive gear and exploring the beautiful waters of Pondicherry, all the while maintaining the highest safety standards. After all, we do have a 100% safety record! Temple Adventures is one of the long-standing and premier 5 star PADI Instructor Development SCUBA diving centres in India. Set up in 2008 by Rob Partridge and Dave Hearn in Mahabalipuram, the two Aussie guys saw some high potential for this sport and made it bigger by shifting base to Pondicherry in 2009. The same year Master Blaster Aravind joined the company and by 2010, Temple Adventures became a PADI dive centre. After this, there was no pressing the brakes as we kept moving and moving up the ladder in this industry.

Starting with building ‘Temple Reef’ in 2013, an artificial reef dive site, to having a whopping 26 dive sites presently, our journey has been absolutely epic! From Aravind’s Wall, which has mind-boggling Fan Corals, to a trawler wreck dive site, we’d like to think we put Pondicherry on the map for mainland SCUBA diving in India and quite possibly the best. Naturally we aimed for more and became a PADI Instructor Development Centre in 2014, where we trained people from all over the world as SCUBA Instructors. As we have abundant deep dive sites, we explored recreational technical diving and became the first PADI Tec Rec dive centre in Pondicherry. We’ve had a lot of firsts in our history that we’re super proud of!

Side by side, we began selling one of the best and reliable SCUBA diving gear – Scubapro – to customers and other dive centres across India, launched the Temple Reef Foundation for marine conservation, conducted beach cleanups, started our sister dive centre in Chennai, became the one and only Pure Air centre in India etc. It’s been one hella ride guys!

Our success is shared with the hardworking and experienced staff, local community support and valued customers – one big Temple family. And of course, our beloved dogs and cats included! We want to make the whole diving experience safe, fun and unforgettable. We’re pro quality over quantity and believe in going that extra nautical mile to cater to our guests’ needs. Our ultimate goal is for our customers to have an amazing time and come back for more!
