The week that was – calm before the storm

The past week was mostly divided into diving and arranging the DC for the upcoming Scubapro Technicians Workshop and the PADI Instructor Development Course. Tanay, Upasna, Vivek, Vishnu, Parvathi and Saurabh finished their Open Water Course and Jose completed his Scuba Diver Course over the weekend. We went out diving all week with lots of fun DSDs joining us.

We had some mini salvaging operations as well, where Jonah claims he found a computer that has spent weeks underwater. We followed the usual cool-stuff-with-Jonah policy. Unless he shows a picture we refuse to believe him 😛  Khush enter the Pro arena, after he successfully passed both his DM and AI exams in flying colours. He definitely has a very bright future ahead and we wish him all the best 🙂

A lot of the center staff was seen to be very busy with the arrangements for the PADI IDC which is going to start on 30th May. Divers from around the country have started to move into Pondicherry to what is looking to be the biggest IDC we have hosted so far. If anyone of you is looking to do a course during this time period, it wont be a bad idea, as the collective instructor level around a mile might just be bigger than the total in the country 😛 Gotta go, and see you for some after workshop reports at the end of this week 🙂
